How to Download APAAR Card from DigiLocker: Step-by-Step PDF Guide

DigiLocker is the official government platform empowered under the IT Act (2000) to issue and host legally valid digital certificates in India. Once your school or university generates your APAAR ID, downloading your card is straightforward:

Step 1: Open DigiLocker App or Portal

Visit digilocker.gov.in on a web browser or download the DigiLocker app from the official Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

Step 2: Sign In with Aadhaar Credentials

Enter your mobile number or 12-digit Aadhaar number and your 6-digit security PIN. Enter the OTP sent to your phone.

Step 3: Search for Ministry of Education

In the search bar, type "APAAR" or "Academic Bank of Credits". You will find the document listed under the Ministry of Education.

Step 4: Enter Student Identification Parameters

Select your institution, admission type, and input your Permanent Education Number (PEN) or university roll number. Click "Get Document".

Step 5: View & Save the Digitally Signed PDF

The card will immediately appear in your Issued Documents tab. Click the download icon to save it as a high-resolution PDF with the official QR verification code.
